about Patrick

Patrick Lewis, a master of the craft with over 25 years in the hairstyling industry, began his journey at The Aveda Institute Minneapolis before honing his skills in Sassoon and American Crew barbering. His insatiable quest for knowledge propelled him from an ambitious apprentice to a revered educator, teaching across the globe from Paris to Barcelona. Currently Patrick travels and educates with Arrojo NYC where he focuses on straight razor cutting and with Reuzel where he focuses on barbering.

At the heart of edit, Patrick's dedication to education shines, offering CEU-accredited courses that blend rigorous discipline with creative freedom. Known for his expertise in razor cutting and barbering, Patrick's classes are a deep dive into precision, balance, and the artistry of hairstyling.

Besides teaching, Patrick regularly hosts professional photoshoots at the salon as a educational tool and way to refine his craft.

  • A: Yes, your salon is responsible for provding mannequin heads for the class. 

  • A: Yes, Patrick will travel to your salon

    • If salon is located 30 miles outside of Chicago zip code 60642, mileage charge will be incurred

    • If salon is out of state, travel and hotel costs will be incurred

  • A: Yes! Each student will receive 6 CEU per day.

  • A: $1200 per day if edit hosts your salon or if Patrick travels to your salon.

    • Classes are fully refundable 2 WEEKS prior to the class date.

    • Classes are 50% refundable 1 WEEK prior to the class date.
